The firm’s Energy and Natural Resources group is made up of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of professionals specialising in the electricity, gas and solid fuel sectors. Our advice spans from competition design and procurement of an interconnector to navigating the energy sectors’ regulatory frameworks. We also provide guidance on all aspects of windfarms (both onshore and offshore) and other renewable energy projects. The group makes representations on behalf of clients to the European Commission, the Commission for Electricity Regulation (CER), and the Irish Competition Authority.

 

Members of the group also provide workshops and lectures. Past workshops and lectures include workshops on deregulation in the gas sector in conjunction with Competition Press and lectures on energy deregulation and WTO matters for the Institute of Petroleum.
